Your privacy matters to us at vetloireland.ie and this is a clear and concise summary of how we use data supplied by you, in relation to inquiries and ways to subscribe to our services.
What information do we collect?
The information you supply to us on the registration from or on the contact form – by post or email – includes personal information which we require for processing you requests and inquiries and to keep you informed of information we believe will be relevant to you.
We do not share your information with third parties other than as required by us in relation to carrying out our service to find and place candidates into positions with veterinary practices or required by law. We retain information in compliance with revenue requirements and in the case of legal proceedings we will retain information until such time as these proceedings are completed – if longer than the revenue compliance requirement.
We also use your information to contact you by email, online or by phone. We commit to suspend sending marketing and sales promotional information on receipt of an unsubscribe notice.
What legal basis do we have for processing your personal data?
We process your information, with your consent under the following GDPR legal grounds: consent, contract, public task or legal obligation.
Consent can be withdrawn by you at any time by contacting our data controller, requesting to be removed from emailing lists. Email firstname.lastname@example.org with your request.
When do we share personal data?
Your data is only available to authorised and relevant staff, who will treat personal data in the same manner as outlined in this document.
Otherwise we will only disclose your personal data under Irish and EU legislation as required by law.
How do we secure personal data?
All data entered online and offline will be stored either online, in secure filing cabinets or on our secure computer system. Our hosting service has a high level of hacking security, together with our web developers placing a range of security plugins to protect against unauthorised access to personal information.
All authorised staff are trained to safely log in and out of our website management area and all staff are contractually obliged and trained to respect client privacy. We conduct bi-annual security reviews with our website service provider.
How long do we keep your personal data for?
We retain information for 7 years, in compliance with legal and revenue obligation. Your data is retained longer if you continue to be a current user, subscriber or customer of ours. If you remain subscribed to our marketing/sales contact system, we continue to keep your personal data until such time as you unsubscribe by emailing email@example.com requesting this.
Providing us with personal information is your acceptance of the above terms.
